DataPix Views — WiFi LED Display View Types

A view is one screen on the panel — live numbers, text, pixel art or an animation, with its own time on screen, brightness and scrolling. Here is every view you can add, playing exactly as the panel draws it.

These panels are not videos. They are drawn with the device's own font, layouts, icons and animations, using sample values. Pick one from the list; the name in brackets is where its data comes from.

How to add a view

  1. Open Views

    Open your DataPix's web page (the address shows on the panel) or the demo, and go to Views.

  2. Press “New view”

    Add a View lists everything above in the same groups, each card with its icon and what it needs.

  3. Fill in what it needs

    A city, a coin, a channel, a free API key or a one-time sign-in — the dialog shows the steps. Apps have a Test button so you see real values before adding. Each view starts with a background animation that suits it; change it or pick None.

  4. Arrange

    Drag values into place, set colours and sizes, add more values (up to 64 per view), paint pixels, or draw your own animation. Anything placed beyond the panel's edge scrolls into view.

  5. Save

    The view joins the rotation. Enable, disable or reorder views from the Views list.

Each is added as a value you can place anywhere. Create icon lets you draw your own (up to 32×32); it's saved on the device next to these.

Animated scenes

Full-panel scenes to show on their own with Animated Pixel Art. Each is saved as ordinary frames you can paint over.

Backgrounds

Quieter animations that stay along the top and bottom edges, so the text and numbers on top stay easy to read. Every view type and app starts with the one that suits it.
