WiFi LED Stock Ticker

Turn DataPix into a desk stock ticker — live price, percent change and a mini trend chart for any ticker, updating on its own over Wi-Fi. No app, no cloud account, no code.

The Stocks & Crypto preset on the panel — live price, change and trend chart.

What you need

  • A DataPix, powered on and joined to your Wi-Fi (see Setup).
  • A free Twelve Data API key.

Step by step

  1. Open the interface

From a browser on the same network, open the device's IP address shown on the panel.

  2. New view → Stocks & Crypto

Go to Views → New view and pick the Stocks & Crypto preset.

The Add a View gallery showing the Stocks & Crypto preset tile among other view types
  3. Paste your Twelve Data key

The preset asks for your free API key once, then searches Twelve Data's symbols for you.

  4. Search a ticker

Type a stock symbol, ETF, or coin — whatever Twelve Data's symbol search returns. The same form also offers one-tap shortcuts for popular tickers.

  5. Customize and save

The preset drops in live price, percent change, and a mini trend chart as separate, movable elements — reposition and recolour anything, then Save.

This is one preset, not the whole picture — it becomes an ordinary, fully editable view the moment it's added. See Views for every built-in preset, or Features to point DataPix at any other JSON API (a different data provider, forex rates, your own portfolio tracker, anything that returns JSON).
