WiFi LED Crypto Ticker

Live price and 24-hour change for any coin, updating on its own. Pick several and they scroll by as one ticker line. For Bitcoin fees and blocks with no key, see the Bitcoin network app.

What you need

  • A DataPix, powered on and joined to your WiFi (see Setup).
  • A free CoinGecko API key.

Step by step

  1. Open the setup page

    From a browser on the same network, open the address shown on the panel.

  2. Add a View → Crypto (CoinGecko)

    Go to Views → New view. On the Add a View page, under Finance & life, pick Crypto (CoinGecko).

  3. Key and coins

    Paste your key, then search coins by name or symbol, or tap a shortcut (BTC, ETH, SOL, DOGE, XRP, ADA). Add several for a ticker line. DataPix remembers the key for next time; change it later in Accounts & API keys.

  4. Background animation

    The view starts with Coin Rain falling along the edges. Pick any other scene, background, pattern or effect, or None — the preview plays right in the dialog.

  5. Arrange and save

    Press Add. Symbol, price and change arrive as separate values; the change turns green or red on its own. Save.
