Last.fm on an LED panel

What you are listening to now on any app that scrobbles (Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal...), and total plays.

Free API key  You need: A free Last.fm account, with your music app scrobbling to it · About 2 minutes

What it shows

  • SONG
  • ARTIST
  • PLAYS (optional)

Each value refreshes every 30 s. The view shows the Last.fm icon, the name of what you follow, then each value with its title above it.

How to set it up

  1. Get a free API key

Open the Last.fm API page, log in and fill in the short form (Application name: DataPix, the rest can stay empty), then copy the API key.

    Create a Last.fm API account

    Enter in DataPix: Last.fm username

    Enter in DataPix: API key

  2. Add it

In DataPix go to Views → Add a View → Streaming & music → Last.fm, fill in the form, press Test to see real values, then Add. You can also add it to any view as one value: Add a value → App stat.

Updates every 30 seconds. Shows the last scrobbled song when nothing is playing.

The key is stored on this device only and is removed from exported views.

Keys and sign-ins stay on your DataPix. Change or remove them any time under Accounts & API keys.
