Facebook Page on an LED panel

Followers and likes of a Facebook Page you manage.

You need: Admin access to the Facebook Page · About 5 minutes

What it shows

  • FOLLOWS
  • LIKES

Each value refreshes every 30 min. The view shows the Facebook Page icon, the name of what you follow, then each value with its title above it.

How to set it up

  1. Create a Meta app

Open Meta for Developers, Create app (use case Other > Business). Copy the App ID and App secret from App settings > Basic.

    Meta for Developers

    Enter in DataPix: App ID

    Enter in DataPix: App secret

  2. Get a user token

Open the Graph API Explorer, pick your app, add the permissions pages_show_list and pages_read_engagement, click Generate Access Token, approve, and copy the token.

    Graph API Explorer

Enter in DataPix: User token (Graph API Explorer)

Enter in DataPix: Page name (optional)

  3. Add it

In DataPix go to Views → Add a View → Social & community → Facebook Page, fill in the form, press Test to see real values, then Add. You can also add it to any view as one value: Add a value → App stat.

Updates every 30 minutes. DataPix turns the short token into a page token that does not expire.

The page token is stored on this device only. Exported views never contain it.

Keys and sign-ins stay on your DataPix. Change or remove them any time under Accounts & API keys.
